Energy recovery

The air in the building or taken in from outside is heated by unit heaters or hot-air generators, but the lighter, warmer air rises, while the heavier, colder air remains on the floor. Destratifiers recover heat from the ceiling and homogenize ambient air.

To save energy, the installation of destratifiers is strongly recommended for heights over 6 metres. By making use of the heat stored under the ceiling, energy savings of up to 30% can be achieved. These products are eligible for Energy Savings Certificates (CEE) - standardised sheets IND-BA-110 and BAT-TH-142.

Application:

This technique can be used in high-rise industrial or commercial buildings with little or no insulation.
